I heart NDIS Registered Provider

A registered NDIS provider gives participants confidence and access to approved NDIS supports. Able WA is proud to share that we are now officially registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which means we can support Self-Managed, Plan-Managed and NDIA-Managed participants across our approved NDIS services.

This is an exciting step for our team, our participants and the wider WA community. It reflects our ongoing commitment to safe, high-quality and personalised support coordination services that help you understand your plan, connect with trusted providers and work towards your goals with confidence.

Quick Summary

  • Able WA is now officially a registered NDIS provider.
  • We can support Self-Managed, Plan-Managed and NDIA-Managed participants.
  • Registration means Able WA meets the quality and safety requirements set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Participants now have greater choice when looking for NDIS support coordination in Perth and across WA.
  • Our supportive, personalised approach remains the same.

What does it mean to be a registered NDIS provider?

Being a registered NDIS provider means Able WA has been approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

To become registered, providers must meet specific quality and safety standards. These standards are designed to protect participants, support choice and control, and make sure services are delivered in a safe, respectful and reliable way.

For participants and families, registration can provide extra confidence when choosing a provider. It shows that the provider has met national requirements and can deliver approved NDIS services to participants with different plan management types.

You can also learn more about the difference between registered and non-registered NDIS providers if you are comparing your options.

Why this matters for NDIA-Managed participants

This update is especially helpful for NDIA-Managed participants, also known as Agency-Managed participants.

When your plan is NDIA-Managed, you can only use registered NDIS providers for services paid directly through the NDIA. Before registration, Able WA could support Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants. Now that we are registered, we can also support NDIA-Managed participants across our approved services.

This means more people can now access our experienced team, local WA provider knowledge and personalised support throughout their NDIS journey.

It also gives participants and families more choice when looking for a trusted support coordinator who understands the NDIS and the local service network in Western Australia.

What services can participants access through Able WA?

Able WA provides personalised support coordination services to help participants make better use of their NDIS plans.

Our role is to help you understand your plan, connect with suitable providers, build your confidence and keep your supports working together. We take the time to understand your goals, your preferences and the support you already have around you.

Through NDIS support coordination, we can help with:

  • understanding your NDIS plan and funding
  • connecting with trusted local service providers
  • setting up service agreements
  • coordinating appointments and supports
  • preparing for plan reviews
  • resolving issues when supports are not working well
  • building your confidence to make informed decisions

Our goal is to make your plan feel clearer and more manageable, so you can focus on your goals, independence and day-to-day life.

Support for more complex situations

Some participants need a higher level of support due to more complex needs, multiple services, changing circumstances or higher levels of risk.

Able WA also provides specialist support coordination for participants who need more intensive guidance. This may include working with multiple providers, health professionals, family members, community services and other support networks to help create greater stability.

Specialist support coordination can be helpful when a participant needs extra planning, problem-solving and coordination across different areas of life.

Our approach remains calm, respectful and practical. We work alongside you to reduce overwhelm, strengthen your support network and help you move forward with greater confidence.

Our commitment to quality, safety and your goals

Registration is an important milestone, but our purpose remains the same.

Able WA exists to provide dedicated, high-quality support that empowers people with disability to live independently and purposefully. We believe good support coordination should feel clear, respectful and centred around your goals.

Our team is committed to:

  • listening to your needs and preferences
  • supporting your choice and control
  • helping you understand your options
  • building strong relationships with local service providers
  • keeping your supports aligned with your goals
  • delivering safe, reliable and person-centred support

We know the NDIS can feel confusing at times. Our role is to give you guidance, reassurance and practical steps, so you feel more confident using your plan.

What has not changed

While our registration status has changed, the way we support people has not.

You can still expect the same warm, personalised and goal-focused support from the Able WA team. We will continue to take the time to understand your circumstances, explain things clearly and work with you in a way that feels supportive and respectful.

For current participants, this update does not change the care, guidance or communication you receive from us. It simply means we can now support more participants, including those with NDIA-Managed plans.

Our unwavering commitment to your goals remains at the centre of everything we do.

Who can now work with Able WA?

Able WA can now support participants with the following NDIS plan management types:

Self-Managed participants
You manage your own NDIS funding and pay providers directly before claiming through the NDIS.

Plan-Managed participants
A plan manager helps pay provider invoices and track your NDIS spending.

NDIA-Managed participants
The NDIA pays registered providers directly for approved services.

Now that Able WA is registered, participants across all three plan management types can access our approved NDIS services.
